Sarah Benington, D.O. | Female

Sarah Benington, D.O. graduated from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000 and graduated from psychiatry residency at Washington University in St. Louis in 2004. She was an assistant professor at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where she worked as an inpatient attending at University Hospital and performed research in affective disorders. In 2010 she moved to California with her husband who is active duty Air Force. Dr. Benington has worked at Napa State Hospital and the state prison in Vacaville. She has extensive practice experience in many areas of adult psychiatry. She is a dedicated student of yoga and a strong proponent of relaxation, meditation and mindfulness in addition to medical management for treatment of psychiatric illness.
