Ana Junia, M.D. completed her medical education in the Philippines in 2002. She moved to the US in 2006 and completed her internship and general psychiatry residency training at the Harvard Medical School South Shore program.
She served as an Administrative Chief Resident for Harvard South Shore prior to her graduating in June 2010. She was involved in Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) psychotherapy groups and was the Chief Resident liaison to
the VA Boston PTSD Clinic. Her interests include PTSD, Mood and Anxiety disorders and Substance Abuse. She also has a special interest in psychotherapeutic techniques such as CBT and Mentalization therapy in addition to her
knowledge of psychotropic medication management.
