Nazineh Nezhad, M.D. | Female
Nazineh Nezhad, M.D. is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She attained her medical degree at UC Irvine’s School of Medicine in 2005 and completed residency training at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric
Hospital.
Dr. Nezhad served as chief resident for the Family Therapy clinic, and has also had specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral and Interpersonal therapies. Her professional interests include Mindfulness Based Cognitive therapy,
treating mood disorders, and women’s mental health as it is affected by infertility, pregnancy and menopause.
Prior to moving to San Francisco, Dr. Nezhad worked as a community psychiatrist in Los Angeles, then in Wellington, New Zealand. While her home is now San Francisco, she maintains her connection to southern California, serving as
a Clinical Instructor at UCLA’s Women’s Life Center.
