Shigefumi Shibata, M.D. | Male

Shigefumi Shibata, M.D. is a board certified psychiatrist. He graduated from Tokyo Medical University School of Medicine in 1988. After serving as an instructor and outpatient psychiatrist, he relocated to the United States and completed his residency in general psychiatry at West Virginia University. He has also completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Texas. Dr. Shibata has written on topics including generalized anxiety disorder and the promotion of mental health, and has practiced outpatient psychiatry in both the United States and Japan.
