V. Sukanya Pillai, M.D. graduated from the Kilpauk Medical College of MGR University in Chennai, India in March of 2006. She continued her medical education at Loyola University Medical Center, where she recently completed her psychiatry residency.

Dr. Pillai is very familiar with the community mental health setting and is looking forward to joining up with Community Psychiatry in helping to provide exceptional psychiatric care to each and every one of our clients. She has specialized training in treatment of PTSD, addiction and anxiety and has always enjoyed working with a culturally diverse population.
