Carmen Roman, M.D.
Dr. Roman is a bilingual/bicultural Spanish-speaking psychiatrist. She is board certified in psychiatry and also in the sub-specialty of child and adolescent psychiatry. Originally from Lima, Peru, Dr. Roman earned her degree in Medicine at San Marcos University in Lima, Peru. She completed her residency in psychiatry at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at St. Mary’s Hospital in San Francisco, California. Most recently (2017 to 2018), in New York City, Dr. Roman worked with new immigrants from Central America and the Caribbean.
Apart from her professional work, Dr. Roman enjoys walks with her dog, movies from Hollywood’s golden age, travel and she trained in ballet as a young adult.
