ences from 1998 to 2003. Remaining in India for the time, her first work experience was at that same Institute where she worked as a Clinical Intern in 2003, and then as a House Surgeon in 2004. She came to the United States to continue her education, first in Nutrition Science from Syracuse University and then joined the psychiatry residency program at the University of Rochester Medical Center, New York. She recently finished up her 4th-year residency in Rochester, during which she was the Chief Resident, and has now decided to come to California to practice with Community Psychiatry. She has interests in dietary behavior, chronic depression and schizophrenia in adults, late-life suicide, and other related mental illnesses. She is a member of the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry.

lecular Genetics and Microbiology from the University of Toronto, she graduated from medical school at the American University of Antigua, College of Medicine in 2013. Dr. Bhandari received her residency training at Creighton University School of Medicine / University of Nebraska Medical Center Psychiatry Residency Program. She then moved to California to pursue further training at Harbor UCLA Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship program, serving as a chief fellow in her final year.
Dr. Bhandari enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults, however, has a special interest in the Transitional Age Youth Population. She has a thorough knowledge of psychopharmacology and stays up to date with current literature on new treatments.
In her spare time, Dr. Bhandari enjoys running, hiking, cooking, traveling to exotic places, and spending time with family and friends.
