Ailene Isleta-Florento, M.D.
Dr. Florento grew up in the Philippines. After obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, she briefly ventured in Toronto, Canada. 3 years later, she returned to the Philippines as her strong desire to be a doctor did not wane. She completed her Medical Degree at the University of Sto. Tomas, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. After 1 year of medical internship, she went back to North America and completed her 4-year Psychiatry Residency Program at State University of New York-Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. In 2002, she moved to California to start her professional career. From covering both the inpatient unit and outpatient clinic at Woodland Memorial Hospital to serving the seriously mentally ill patients of Yolo County, her experience continues to grow and her dedication to her work remains strong.
