Ankita Vora M.D., MPH
Ankita Vora, M.D., MPH is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist at Community Psychiatry. After graduating from medical school in Mumbai, India, Dr. Vora went on to study at The University of Texas Health Science Center, Dallas Regional Campus where she earned her Master’s in Public Health. With her public health background, she was active in multiple research trials for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation for Depression and Bipolar disorders. She conducted her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at Washington University and adult psychiatric residency training at Saint Louis University where she was the Chief of Scholarly Activities.
Dr. Vora’s journey, her education, and her passion for helping others have led her to develop an evidence-based patient‑centered outlook in her line of work. As an integrative psychiatrist, she aims to guide her patients to achieve optimal health and lead an active, fulfilling life by looking at the whole of the patient in addition to their mind, body, and environment. She offers her patients the right tools that enable them on their own to reach the ultimate level of health physically, mentally, and spiritually.
In her spare time, Dr. Vora enjoys cooking, reading, dancing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.Request Appointment
