April L’Heureux, LMFT

April L’Heureux graduated from the Phillips Graduate Institute with a graduate degree in Family Counseling Psychology and has been a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist for more than 20 years. She began her career as a Case Manager for the Los Angeles County Department of Children & Family Services. She then joined a Private Shelter Care Facility as their Program Director and oversaw the operations and delivery of services to a specialized client population. She has subsequently held leadership and therapist roles in several community-focused organizations, as well as maintaining a private practice for many years. She has continued her training during her entire career, earning a Certification in Plant-based Nutrition from Cornell University, Certificate in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, and Certificate as an RTT Therapist from Marissa Peer. Outside of work she expanded on her personal skill set through the study of music and opera at the University of North Texas, which led to performing with the Riverside Opera, Los Angeles Master Chorale, and Danny Daniels Dance America.
