About Shannon Peterson, MD
Dr. Shannon Peterson is a board-certified psychiatrist and has been with Mindpath Health since 2016. Dr. Peterson completed her psychiatric residency at Boston University Medical Center. During her residency, she pursued additional training in psychodynamic therapy at the Danielson Institute and in the treatment of PTSD at the Woman’s Stress Disorder Treatment Team at the VA of Boston. In partnership with another student, she designed and implemented the medical Spanish curriculum for medical students, which is still offered today at the University of Southern California.Education & Certifications
