Elena also only prescribes benzodiazepines (e.g., alprazolam [Xanax], clonazepam [Klonopin], and lorazepam [Ativan]) and benzodiazepine receptor agonists (e.g., zaleplon [Sonata], zolpidem [Ambien]) for short-term (1-2 weeks) use and only in acute cases and instead emphasizes other ways of improving anxiety and sleep.Request Appointment
