Holli Hoffman DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, LMHC

Dr. Hoffman is dually board certified as a family nurse practitioner and a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice and her post doctorate certificate as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from Brandman University in Irvine, CA. She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland and her Master of Science in Psychology at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL. She has also been certified in the past as a Cognitive Behavioral Forensic Therapist. Holli has carried out research in pain amelioration, behavior patterns in adults, suicide tendencies in adolescents, and schizophrenia. Holli started a primary care program for adults with mental illness in Telecare, San Mateo. She has precepted many nurse practitioner students. Her work settings have included but were not limited to inpatient psychiatric units, partial hospitalization programs, community mental health, and early intervention. She has worked with clients of all ages but has a specialized focus with young adults and adolescents. She has spent much time working with clients with Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, and addictions.  She incorporates psychotherapy and medication in treatment and sees her psychiatric work as a partnership with her clients.
