Kathleen Winfrey, PMHNP-BC
Kathleen is a board certified Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner receiving her degree from Arizona State University in 2009. She also has a Master’s in Educational Counseling from Northern Arizona University. She has worked in several Child/Adolescent Centers with an emphasis on treating school aged clients dealing with anxiety, ADHD, depression, learning disabilities, and developmental disorders. She has worked collaboratively with child psychiatrists, developmental pediatricians, child psychologists, and therapists. She just finished two years at the University of San Diego providing medication management, counseling, and life skills to college students through the University’s Counseling Center. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner she worked for many years as an RN in both Pediatrics and as a School Nurse providing care to grades K-12.
Kathleen’s passion is helping children, teens, young adults and their families with mental health concerns
When she is not working she loves to travel anywhere and everywhere, the movies, the ocean, and eating out.
