Kevin White, M.D.

Kevin White, M.D., Ph.D, is an adult psychiatrist of varied interests. He did a fellowship in student and academic health at MIT as the last year of his Harvard, Cambridge Hospital Residency. Research in residency included studies on the changing and constructed nature of psychiatric diagnoses, including the likelihood of it shifting in an individual within a year. He currently treats lots of patients with depressive to bipolar, attentional and anxiety diagnoses, with medication but also a focus on exercise, therapy, and sleep. His Ph.D was in Demography from the University of Pennsylvania, with models of the American population and social networks in Kenya. He has practiced in California as an outpatient psychiatrist for 12 years, but before then spent several years abroad, in Japan, Hong Kong, England, and France. Non-psychiatric interests include Lieder singing, modern board games, frisbee and once, medieval dance. He speaks some French and Japanese, but they’re too rusty for treatment purposes.
