About Prital Desai, MD, MPH
Dr. Prital Desai is a dual board-certified psychiatrist in child and adolescent psychiatry and general psychiatry. Dr. Desai provides evidence-based and compassionate psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults with various psychiatric disorders, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, and mood disorders. She has a keen interest in promoting preventative and comprehensive care for her patients. Dr. Desai completed general psychiatry training at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington D.C. and completed her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Virginia. She enjoys dancing, hiking, kayaking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.Education & Certifications
