Rebecca R. Kolb, PMHNP-BC
Rebecca joins Community Psychiatry’s family of providers as a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with over 11 years of experience in the mental health field and 19 years in medicine. Her knowledge, training, and non-judgemental approach make her a very caring provider. Her passion for mental health started with serving the vulnerable institutionalized adolescent and adult populations.
In addition, she has held positions of leadership as a University professor teaching about vulnerable populations, public health, and mental health. She was an Emergency Department Nurse and Manager as well as a Health Services Manager serving emotionally disturbed populations. For the past several years, Rebecca’s skills in medication management have been dedicated to serving young adults and adults with mental disorders, including ADHD, bipolar, major depression, PTSD, anxiety, and mood disorders. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from California State University, Fullerton, and her Post Master’s Nurse Practitioner certification from Azusa Pacific University.
