Robert Cutrow, Ph.D.

Dr. Robert Cutrow is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years of clinical experience. He has worked extensively with depression, anxiety, relationship and workplace issues with insurance and managed care populations. Dr. Cutrow treats adults, adolescents, and children in individual, couples and family therapy.
He received his B.A. from California State University at Northridge, his M.A. in psychology from California State University at Long Beach, then did doctoral work at Claremont Graduate School and received his Ph.D. from the California School of Professional Psychology at Los Angeles.
Dr. Cutrow started his professional career with Ross-Loss Medical Group (which was later purchased by CIGNA) as a clinician and administrator. After 20 years of working in the South Bay providing direct services, supervising clinical staff and doctoral interns, and running clinics that provided both mental health and substance abuse services, Dr. Cutrow moved to full-time administration as the Clinical Administrator of CIGNA Behavioral Health of California. Dr. Cutrow then moved to PacifiCare Behavioral Health for the next four years as a supervisor and Senior Care Manager. Due to his passion for working with people, he then returned to direct service with Gelbart and Associates. Dr. Cutrow’s professional orientation is psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
