Robert Feeley, M.D.

I practice general adult and addiction psychiatry, offering treatment for people with depression, bipolar, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and a range of addictive disorders. I chose to specialize in psychiatry because I enjoy the art of it as much as I enjoy the science. I am fortunate to work at a facility that offers a full spectrum of services to people with psychiatric disorders. I work closely with a team of specialists that views a condition through multiple lenses before choosing–along with the client– the best, most individualized solution.
In the treatment of addiction, I use pharmacological approaches (including suboxone). I share an equal interest in psychotherapy — and incorporate psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, cognitive processing, 12-step, and existential psychotherapies into my sessions. I also offer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), a cutting-edge, revolutionary, and non-invasive treatment for major depressive disorder in addition to multiple other mental health conditions.
An additional interest of mine is the intersection of psychiatry and spirituality. I am a meditation instructor and have found that meditation is an invaluable asset in maintaining presence, careful listening, and compassion.
It is a great privilege to walk alongside clients, to hear their stories, and to establish a close alliance and trust during vulnerable periods in life. I am excited by this work and being of service to my clients is immensely important to me.
I am friendly, compassionate, humorous, and diligent — and these qualities help me to accomplish our mutually shared goals as quickly as possible.
