Saoda Shuara, M.D.
Saoda Shuara, M.D. is an adult and child-adolescent psychiatrist. She completed her undergraduate studies at York University where she conducted her honors thesis in cytogenetics. Afterward, Dr. Shuara attended the Medical University of the Americas for her Medical Degree and went on to complete her psychiatry residency training at Griffin Memorial Hospital in Oklahoma. Driven by her interest in the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric conditions at an earlier age, Dr. Shuara further pursued a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Shuara has acquired broad experience in the treatment of general psychiatric conditions and takes a particular interest in Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, genetic testing, and lifelong impacts of trauma.
