Verretta Moore, PMHNP-BC
Verretta’s passion is to bring light to and stamp out the stigma surrounding mental health. She has helped clients across the life span to manage the symptoms of their mental health diagnoses with the appropriate medications and integrates some talk therapy into sessions. Verretta brings 20 + years of medical nursing experience and 5 years as an advanced practice professional in mental and behavioral health.
Verretta’s educational background includes a Bachelors’s in nursing from the University of West Georgia, an MSN from South University, Savannah, GA, and a Post-Masters Certificate in Psychiatry and Mental Health from George Washington University, Washington, DC. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Across the Life Span.
Outside of the office, Verretta is a wife, mother, and MEME (too young to be called grandmother). She loves spending time with her family, watching movies, yoga, and enjoying great food. Verretta has lived in Mississippi (where she was born), Atlanta, Georgia for 18 years, and Indianapolis for 2 years. She is new to the west coast, but has visited frequently…Go Niners!
